About the position

Under moderate supervision, provide sales, service and loan support to Relationship Managers, Commercial Credit staff, and Sales Leaders managing and supporting Commercial client portfolios. Support is provided across all Commercial Community Bank segments, which includes clients from $2-500MM in annual sales.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Relationship Managers by providing sales support, including assistance with pipeline accuracy, call preparation, ordering Financial Insights, opening and onboarding deposit accounts, Treasury onboarding, and following up with clients.
  • Provide additional sales support by scheduling appointments, creating prospect lists, and providing calendar assistance.
  • Support the sales process and portfolio growth through recognition of referral opportunities using internal resources and data.
  • Maintain working knowledge and awareness of products and services.
  • Provide superior client service to Commercial Community Bank clients, taking ownership of client needs, problems, and requests.
  • Assist in general servicing of Commercial loans, deposits, and fee services assigned to Relationship Managers.
  • Assist Relationship Managers with portfolio management ensuring accurate client assignment and account data.
  • Deliver accurate and timely information to internal loan areas as needed, communicate with the client, and assist with appropriate stages of the loan process.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, or equivalent education and related training
  • Three years of related experience, preferably within financial services
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in relating to internal and external clients and contacts
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to complete all core courses outlined in the CCS training curriculum
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate's degree in related field
  • Possess working product knowledge of bank services and Financial Services Industry
  • Possess math aptitude with ability to grasp general accounting and financial concepts
  • Possess working knowledge of excel and/or reporting applications.
