About the position

C.A.D. Contract Glazing, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator to join their team. This full-time position focuses on inside sales within the glazing construction industry, where the Estimator will be responsible for reviewing bids from general contractors, preparing proposals, and building relationships with prospective customers. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to influence sales and close deals.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings and bid documents received from general contractors.
• Prepare proposals to be submitted via email.
• Develop long-term relationships with prospective customers via email and phone.
• Deliver value propositions to customers to influence sales.
• Follow up on all customer proposals to close sales.
• Gain customer insights and recommend products, materials, and services based on customer needs.
• Provide sales product knowledge and expertise to customers.
• Meet expectations for proposal volumes and closing sales ratios.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction sales.
• 5 years of experience in reading blueprints preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation and project management skills.
• Attention to detail and demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
• Strong negotiation skills to sell products and services.
• Ability to create and modify complex quotes for large projects.
• Proficient in Office Software.
• Valid Driver's License.
