About the position

The Commercial Construction Estimator position is designed for an experienced professional who will be responsible for estimating costs for diverse commercial projects, including K-12, retail, industrial, and healthcare. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Utilize estimating software to create accurate and competitive bids.
• Review and adjust estimates based on project changes or client feedback.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and ensure accuracy in estimates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.
• Proficient in using estimating software such as MS Office Suite, Sage, and Bluebeam.
• Strong knowledge of complex building systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and mathematical skills.
