About the position
The Lead Project Manager for Commercial Construction will oversee large-scale projects in the Milwaukee area, focusing on commercial, retail, healthcare, and restaurant renovations. This role requires a steadfast personality to lead teams from project inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Track project progress and maintain schedules while coordinating with various agencies for compliance.
- Ensure quality control and safety standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor cost control, job costing, and productivity metrics.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding project status and safety practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in commercial construction as a Project Manager or Lead Project Manager.
- Proven ability to manage new construction and large-scale projects confidently.
- Experience with project management and estimating, particularly in projects ranging from $3m to $35m.
- Construction Management Degree or a similar qualification is required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
