About the position

The Commercial Construction Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing construction projects in the Charlotte area, ensuring that all work is completed according to specifications, on time, and within budget. This role involves managing subcontractors, maintaining construction logs, and ensuring compliance with building codes. The supervisor will also communicate with various stakeholders and may need to manage projects outside of town.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and architectural plans.
• Manage multiple subcontractors on site to ensure project completion.
• Schedule subcontractors as needed to maintain project timelines.
• Maintain construction logs using project management applications.
• Communicate effectively with various parties via email and phone regarding project updates and issues.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Oversee the daily operations on the construction site.

Requirements

• 1 year of supervising experience in commercial construction.
• 2 years of construction management experience.
• Valid driver's license and own transportation.
• Ability to read architectural blueprints.
