About the position
Taurus Staffing Inc. is looking for a Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead and manage the performance, quality, and safety standards of commercial construction projects. This role requires a strong background in supervising field staff and ensuring that all safety and quality protocols are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Supervise field staff and oversee staff performance.
- Manage subcontractors, ensuring safety and monitoring the quality of work.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and inspect equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Track and monitor project progress, communicating status regularly with management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 5 years of supervising experience in commercial construction.
- Experience with frame carpentry.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead teams effectively.
Nice-to-haves
- 5+ years of working with timber trusses and framing.
- Excellent problem-solving and team-building abilities.
