About the position
The Commercial Construction Superintendent will oversee hospitality projects for a commercial general contractor. This role requires strong leadership and extensive experience in managing large-scale commercial construction projects, particularly in the retail and hospitality sectors.
Responsibilities
- Coordination of all communication with partners, stakeholders, contractors, engineers, and architects
- Oversee project management and timeline of the projects to ensure commitments are being met
- Develop standards to provide effective and efficient project completion
- Manage building material orders and delivery to projects
- Ensure all employees and contractors are following safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- 10 years experience with emphasis on retail and hospitality commercial construction
- Strong leadership skills with previous management of construction professionals
- Ability to communicate effectively and convey project direction
- Proficient in construction management software
- History of completed projects with values between 10-20M
