About the position

The Commercial Contracts Administrator at Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. is a mid-level role focused on managing various contract administration, pricing, and procurement functions within the Cybersecurity Business Unit. The position requires ensuring compliance with established guidelines and policies while managing the life cycle of contracts from proposal to closeout. This role is primarily remote, with the option for hybrid work, and emphasizes collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with customers' contracts personnel, Kratos program personnel, and subcontractors.
  • Administer prime contracts, including subcontract administration and closeouts.
  • Provide proposal support by reviewing and approving cost estimates and modification requests.
  • Review Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
  • Complete vendor documentation and assist in preparing contractual documents for proposal submission.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Maintain responsibility for logging and filing contract documents, including awards, modifications, NDAs, and proposals.
  • Collaborate with project management, finance, and corporate teams to set up projects.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contracts administration, with at least 2 years in commercial contracts and 1 year in procurement.
  • Proficient in spreadsheets and databases.
  • Ability to organize workload with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and commitments while handling multiple assignments.
  • Effective team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with NDAs, proposals, contract administration, procurement, and closeouts.
  • Working knowledge of UCC and FAR.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Costpoint, Adobe, Ariba, and DocuSign.
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
