About the position

The Commercial Credit Analyst at E SB Financial Group Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the credit analysis function within the organization. In addition to the core responsibilities, the Commercial Credit Analyst will work towards achieving departmental goals as outlined in the annual operating plan. They will coordinate tasks with coworkers both within and outside the department to ensure efficient processes and adherence to regulatory requirements. The analyst will also provide leadership and on-the-job training to Credit Analyst Trainees, fostering a collaborative and educational environment. Maintaining accurate records and providing timely reports to supervisors is also a key aspect of this role. The position requires a strong understanding of current lending and loan review regulations, as well as banking operations. The analyst must be proficient in analyzing and interpreting financial statements, and possess excellent communication skills to respond to inquiries from bank personnel and customers. Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative duties to support the credit analysis function.

  • Respond to inquiries from bank personnel and customers within established time frames.
  • Maintain appropriate records and provide assigned reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Finance or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in financial analysis is normally required; five (5) years preferred.
  • Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills.
  • Moderate interpersonal relations and communicative skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of current lending and loan review regulations and banking operations.
  • Proficient ability to analyze and interpret financial statements.
