About the position

The Commercial Credit Analyst at WSFS Bank is responsible for analyzing commercial loan customers and real estate projects to assess financial and business risks. This role involves reviewing financial statements and preparing credit memorandums to support Relationship Managers in their decision-making processes. Responsibilities

• Analyze industry and market risks for commercial loan customers and real estate projects.
• Prepare credit memorandums, financial spreadsheets, and relationship/profitability analyses.
• Support Relationship Managers with various tasks related to credit analysis.
• Complete an extensive training program, including external classroom training and on-the-job training with experienced bankers.
• Work with business clients with revenues of $2.5 to $100 million and real estate transactions from $1 to $15 million in credit exposure.
• Travel to customer locations and various WSFS locations as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of commercial loan underwriting and analysis, including the review and interpretation of client financial statements and tax returns.
• Ability to review and understand data in both personal and business bureaus.
• Previous credit experience is preferred.
• Previous banking experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and strong PC spreadsheet skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
