The Commercial Credit Underwriter position at F.N.B. Corp. is a full-time role based in Pittsburgh, PA, primarily responsible for preparing comprehensive financial analyses of current and prospective commercial loan customers. The incumbent will engage in spreading financial statements, analyzing industry and economic conditions, and conducting cash flow analyses. Utilizing Baker Hill software, the underwriter will spread various types of submitted financial statements accurately and in a timely manner. Additionally, the role involves researching available data from internet sources and subscription-based utilities to summarize information regarding the current and projected status of certain industries and borrowers. The underwriter will develop a personal program to maintain an adequate level of knowledge in banking matters, compliance, credit analysis, and personal skills. Effective leadership on complex transactions, including syndications and multi-level capital structures, is expected, along with excellent communication skills to voice opinions clearly and concisely. The underwriter will also independently research various industries and summarize information regarding their current and projected status, aiding senior leaders in making informed lending decisions. The position requires a commitment to risk management and compliance with regulatory laws and company procedures, ensuring that all employees understand and manage the risks they encounter daily.
