About the position

The Commercial Customer Portals Technical Product Manager is responsible for defining the strategic direction for product development within the team's portfolio. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment of product features and functionality, while also focusing on continuous improvement and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Implement Lean methodologies to review and update SAP standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in Kaizen events related to the Commercial Customer Portals.
  • Work with Product Teams to improve processes based on incoming tickets and requests.
  • Review team work to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Suggest continuous improvement changes to address common tickets and issues.
  • Ensure timely resolution and communication of all tickets, projects, and activities.
  • Plan budgets for yearly Purchase Order renewals and review team capacity for changes.
  • Prioritize and manage work on ad-hoc tickets, periodic activities, and small projects.
  • Lead regular and ad-hoc meetings to encourage standard work processes.
  • Maintain documentation for products including end user training, architecture, design, and data flows.
  • Partner with Business teams to document requirements and test prior to implementation.
  • Drive successful execution of requirements with UX, Engineering, and Architecture teams.
  • Define the Product North Star Vision and multi-year roadmap with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate MYGEHonda portal activities with all application owners.
  • Ensure portal compliance with ITC Sanctions.
  • Address tickets, issues, and new requirements with Portal stakeholders within agreed timelines.
  • Drive consistency across the TPM organization and cross-train on additional products.
  • Implement standard work within the CCP team including Big Room Reviews and Planning.
  • Document in Rally Feature Sets, Features, User Stories, and other artifacts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience, or an associate's degree with 7 years of experience, or a High School Diploma with 9 years of experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Technical Product, Project, or Program Management roles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with peers and leadership.
  • Experience with Lean practices including Kaizens and VSMs.
  • Extensive experience in solving challenging issues in high-pressure environments.
  • Agile experience including Rally, Feature Set, Feature and User Story writing, and Sprint planning.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 20% as required.
