About the position

The Commercial Data Solutions Analyst for Urology at Boston Scientific Corporation is a pivotal role focused on enhancing the operational efficiency of the Urology division through data analytics and reporting. This position involves building and maintaining digital enablement platforms that support various internal functions and the Field Sales Organization. The analyst will leverage their expertise in data manipulation and analytics to create sales enablement tools, drive strategic projects, and provide insights that inform decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Harness existing reporting tools and technologies to craft intuitive analytical reports and insights for field personnel and leadership.
  • Develop and implement innovative reporting tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency across the Urology division.
  • Engage in strategic projects aimed at advancing the objectives of the Urology division.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope, communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Generate tailored business reviews reflecting regional market conditions, customer challenges, and strategic opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends, performance metrics, and external data sources to pinpoint growth opportunities.
  • Offer specialized ad-hoc analytical assistance, including data interpretation, to meet varying project needs.
  • Work within the product owner team supporting the development of new Salesforce functionalities and the rollout of new features.
  • Promote an inclusive workplace culture that encourages all employees to engage fully and contribute to achieving organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience with data and enablement tools
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with SQL, Python, or VBA programming
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in analytical visualization tools like Tableau
  • Expert level experience with back-office application skills, including Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint & Word
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and above average writing and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to work in a high-paced collaborative, teamwork-oriented environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience within the medical device industry supporting a field sales organization
  • Proven expert level analytical and problem-solving experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced data manipulation and analysis
  • Proven experience in influencing change
  • Organization skills and the ability to handle work of a highly confidential nature
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities against strict deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and customer service.
