About the position

The Commercial Deposit Support Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to Commercial Banking clients across various business lines. This role involves supporting Loan Officers and Retail Branch staff with cash management products and services, ensuring compliance with regulations, and acting as a primary contact for clients. The Specialist may also take on leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Commercial Deposit Manager and participate in various projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Open and maintain deposit accounts for Commercial Banking clients in compliance with regulations and audit requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all Commercial Banking lines of business across multiple regions.
• Handle incoming and outgoing wire transfer research requests and resolve issues with vendors and internal departments.
• Provide technical assistance to Cash Management clients, including password resets and software downloads.
• Review daily overdraft reports and communicate findings to the Commercial Banking team.
• Assist with credit card applications and follow up with vendors on the status of applications.
• Manage the client implementation process by preparing contracts and setup documents.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and experience in a banking environment.
• Knowledge of cash management products and services.
• Familiarity with regulations such as U.S.A. Patriot Act and BSA/AML compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and departments.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Remote Deposit Capture software.
• Familiarity with NACHA file formatting and Positive Pay check issue files.
