About the position

AWG is seeking skilled Commercial Electricians to join our team immediately. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and quality, as you will be responsible for the installation of electrical components and equipment on both commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the National Electric Code and be able to read blueprints, specifications, and submittal data to ensure that all equipment is installed correctly and in compliance with state and local building regulations. You will work closely with superintendents, project managers, co-workers, and other trades in a dynamic construction environment, demonstrating a willingness to collaborate and step outside of your individual trade when necessary to complete projects efficiently. In this role, you will manage work crews, ensuring that all project tasks are completed on schedule and within budget. This includes documenting hours worked and job progress, as well as using testing devices to identify and report any electrical problems. You will be expected to complete work orders on time and maintain accurate records of materials used. A standard set of hand and power tools is required to perform tasks safely, and you must have your own transportation and a valid driver's license to travel to various job sites throughout Phoenix and occasionally across the state.
