About the position

PeopleShare is seeking certified Electricians and electrical assembly candidates for full-time, permanent positions in Lakeside, Richmond. The positions involve installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in industrial settings, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards or defects.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Install electrical conduit and wiring through walls, ceilings, and floors.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check and urine drug screen.
• 3+ years commercial and/or industrial experience.
• Must be able to work independently to solve problems.
• Must be detail-oriented and a quick learner.
