Rogers Electric is seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to join our dynamic team in Baltimore, MD. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the completion of various electrical tasks, troubleshooting electrical issues, and installing electrical systems in new construction settings. You will also perform electrical break and repair, read blueprints, run conduit, and wire/terminate devices. Quality control testing and managing service upgrades for our retail clients will be key components of your role. You will interact with store and facilities managers, ensuring that all electrical work meets our high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities

  • Manage the completion of various electrical tasks
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Install electrical systems in a new construction setting
  • Perform electrical break and repair
  • Read blueprints, run conduit, and wire/terminate devices
  • Perform quality control testing
  • Manage service upgrades for new and existing retail clients
  • Interact with store/facilities managers and maintenance department personnel
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of previous construction electrical experience
  • Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in a new construction setting
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objects
  • Ability to ascend/descend ladders
  • Good computer skills
  • Possession of reliable transportation and basic hand tools
  • Must be willing to travel, work nights, weekends and overtime
  • Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
