Responsibilities

• Produce accurate material and labor take-offs for bidding on projects across various construction sectors including education, institutional, retail, hospitality, corrections, government, process piping, waste and water treatment, and commercial buildings.
• Create manual or digital material, equipment, and fixture take-offs using Quote Express software.
• Identify, communicate, and coordinate scopes of work to request pricing from subcontractors and vendors.
• Evaluate bids for completeness and compliance.
• Price materials and estimate labor, extending detailed cost estimates using Microsoft Excel.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing estimating is required.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading.
• 5 years of experience in commercial construction is preferred.
• Strong estimating skills.
• Excellent time management abilities.
• Experience in cost analysis.
