About the position

In this role, you will partner with the Global Revenue team to ensure revenue transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with IFRS (IFRS 15). You are the primary owner of level 1 and level 2 revenue recognition within the region that has the added responsibility to assist the sales organization in effectively structuring deals. Liaison with the Regional sales team to ensure the below is accomplished: Guiding sales teams to effectively structure commercial offerings, Accurate Revenue Recognition according to IFS policies, Bookings are accurately reflected in Deal Approval Request process - complete New Bookings Template, Accurately calculated Contract Asset Positions, Impact on Annual Recurring Revenue is well articulated for renewals & Subscription conversions, Guide sales team on revenue initiatives, Pro-actively work through future opportunities listed in Xactly to ensure a smooth Order to Bookings process, Support Regional Sales Leadership on Forecast calls with regard to deal values and structuring. This position can sit 100% remote within the US/CA.

Requirements

  • Ability to show attention to detail while working with large volumes of data, but also be able to step back and see 'the big picture'
  • Ability to deliver in a fast-paced, transformational environment driving change and continuous improvement with a positive attitude and critical mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure and capable of managing numerous work streams at once
  • At least 6 years in a similar role, within either a large international software technology environment (software technology strongly preferred)
  • Strong revenue recognition knowledge (IFRS 15 or ASC606)
  • Strong Excel skills (incl. power pivots)
  • Strong managerial skills and ability to handle multiple topics and resources at once
  • University degree-educated, preferably in the field of Accounting & Finance (or equivalent training or work experience)
  • Preferable Accounting Qualification in either ACA, ACCA or CIMA with at least 5 years PQE

  • Proven experience in a related finance/FP&A area preferred
  • Effective management of teams, straight and dotted line
