Responsibilities

• Provide introductory information to new customers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with products and services.
• Follow up with clients to confirm satisfaction with purchases.
• Inform customers about additional products or services.
• Determine the most efficient ways to address customer inquiries.
• Escalate complex queries or concerns as needed.
• Troubleshoot common product issues.
• Collaborate with a team of CSRs and other departments to find solutions.
• Manage a high volume of inbound calls.
• Provide customers with discount programs and price lists.
• Confirm orders and shipping details.
• Enter sample orders and perform clerical duties such as filing, reviewing edit lists, faxing, and mailing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years of customer service experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs such as Excel and Word.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Capacity to handle a high volume of calls and emails daily.
• Team-oriented with the ability to share work among a customer service team.
• Attentiveness, patience, and time-management skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to find the positive in any situation.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with JD Edwards AS 400 is preferred.
• Previous manufacturing background is a plus.
• Experience in the door hardware industry is a plus.

Benefits

• Competitive salary of $20.00 - $21.00 per hour.
• Full-time position with 40 hours per week.
