About the position

The Commercial Insurance Account Executive plays a crucial role in a leading agency, focusing on delivering premier commercial insurance solutions. This position involves managing policies, ensuring accurate communication among stakeholders, and driving growth within the commercial insurance portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately update policies and account information.
  • Engage with clients, producers, and carrier underwriters regarding policy and coverage inquiries.
  • Lead new business marketing and renewal quoting processes.
  • Compile and oversee account renewal information.
  • Maintain timely contact with clients and carrier representatives.
  • Contribute to acquiring new business.

Requirements

  • Valid Property & Casualty Insurance license required.
  • 3-5 years in an independent agency or retail brokerage.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverage and rating.
  • Experience working with carriers and underwriters.
  • Familiarity with online rating software and carrier systems.
  • Proficient in Applied TAM, EPIC, or AMS360; Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
