Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to commercial insurance clients by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Manage a book of commercial insurance accounts, handling policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and other account-related activities with accuracy.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate coverage terms, manage claims, and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Conduct risk assessments to evaluate client risks and exposures, offering tailored insurance solutions.
• Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide clients with relevant information.
• Ensure compliance and maintain meticulous client records and documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Commercial Account Manager or in a similar role within the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, including property, liability, and workers' compensation.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to explain complex insurance concepts clearly.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Experience using insurance agency management software such as Applied TAM, Epic, or AMS 360.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in underwriting commercial insurance products.
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies.
