About the position

The Commercial Insurance Account Manager - Healthcare at HUB International is responsible for servicing and marketing assigned Commercial Lines insurance accounts, particularly within the healthcare sector. This role involves evaluating client needs, preparing proposals, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to departmental growth goals. The Account Manager will work collaboratively with team members and utilize HUB's Broker Management System to manage client data effectively.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recommend appropriate insurance coverage and limits to clients.
• Prepare client proposals based on needs, rates, and coverages.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure all service needs are met.
• Assist Producers with new business to contribute to departmental production growth goals.
• Gather information from clients and prepare submissions for insurance carriers or online quotes for new/renewal coverage.
• Work successfully with Assistant Account Managers and other team members to delegate work effectively.
• Utilize HUB's Broker Management System (BMS - EPIC) to manage client account data and follow established office protocols.
• Stay informed of changes and trends within the industry and participate in additional training as needed.
• Conduct business in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the business and earnings implications of the Company.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in Commercial Lines coverage and markets.
• Experience with healthcare accounts, including Medical Malpractice and Professional Liability insurance coverage.
• Property & Casualty Producer's license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and remote meeting platforms such as Teams and Zoom.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
