About the position

The Commercial Account Manager is responsible for retaining, developing, and serving a portfolio of commercial accounts. This role emphasizes a proactive, consultative approach to customer service, ensuring that both the proactive and reactive needs of clients are met efficiently. The position requires a Property & Casualty License and experience in commercial insurance or strong B2B sales experience. The role offers a hybrid work environment and includes responsibilities related to sales, retention, and client management.

Responsibilities

  • Retain and develop a book of commercial accounts.
  • Serve as a proactive, consultative advisor to clients.
  • Manage the client's renewal process and facilitate timely renewal proposals.
  • Deliver policies to clients, either in person or digitally, highlighting coverage and providing education.
  • Re-market customer accounts with other carriers as needed.
  • Troubleshoot larger issues and assist clients with claims.
  • Connect clients with carriers' risk management tools and resources.
  • Assist partners with niche-specific projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid Property & Casualty License required.
  • Experience in commercial insurance or strong B2B sales experience.
  • Ability to work independently and be technologically proficient.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales is preferred.
