About the position

The Commercial Lines Account Manager at Stahl & Associates Insurance, a Higginbotham Partner, is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of middle market commercial property and casualty accounts. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service and requires a knowledgeable insurance professional to handle policy processing, renewals, and client inquiries while maintaining a collaborative work environment and a strong work/life balance.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of servicing a robust book of middle market commercial P&C accounts.
• Process and renew policies, and rate and quote new and renewal business.
• Answer policy and coverage-related questions from clients.
• Check accuracy of policies and process endorsements.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of correspondence, applications, quotes, and marketing information.
• Prepare proposals and issue certificates of insurance as needed.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of independent agency experience preferred.
• Agency management system experience required; Applied EPIC and CSR24 experience preferred.
• Must have a current FL 2-20 P&C license.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills to build client and carrier relationships.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Professional designations such as CIC or CRIS desired, but not required.
• In-depth knowledge of construction risks is helpful.
