About the position
WalkerHughes Insurance is looking for an experienced Customer Service Agent to join their Commercial Lines team across 14 offices in Indiana. This role focuses on addressing client concerns regarding insurance policies and servicing requests, while also preparing and processing various insurance documents. The position requires collaboration with Sales Executives to close new sales opportunities and provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients on their concerns regarding insurance policies.
- Service client requests including payments, endorsements, and Evidence of Coverage.
- Analyze, draft, and monitor complex documents such as renewals, claims, and applications.
- Prepare and process documents for assigned Sales Executive including policies, renewals, claims, and contracts.
- Design and prepare marketing/quoting information and presentation material.
- Process coverage requests with the Sales Executive.
- Collaborate with the Sales Executive to close new sales opportunities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years experience in customer service.
- At least five years' experience in Commercial Lines insurance preferred.
- Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
- Strong aptitude for interpretation of coverage forms, contractual agreements, and financial statements.
