About the position
Compass Insurance Group is seeking licensed producers to assist multi-lingual clients and drive growth for our agency in Clarendon Hills, IL. The role involves providing various insurance products to meet client needs across more than 26 states, with a focus on individuals with experience in the trucking industry and multi-lingual capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Educate clients on different insurance options and help them make informed decisions.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients.
- Process insurance applications and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Experience in retail sales or outside sales is preferred.
- Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
- Familiarity with benefits administration processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of telemarketing techniques is beneficial.
- A valid insurance license may be required depending on state regulations.
- Self-motivated as well as ability to work as a team.
Nice-to-haves
- Language fluency in Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Serbian/Bosnian/Macedonian is preferred (not required).
- Experience in the trucking industry is a plus.
