About the position

The Commercial Insurance Sales Mentor at CoVerica is a full-time role focused on building trust and relationships with clients while driving sales in the property and casualty insurance sector. The position emphasizes a client-centric approach, helping clients identify their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions. The role requires a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume sales environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a network of business clients by prospecting and building relationships with existing clients.
  • Assess client insurance needs and develop tailored insurance and risk management solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes.
  • Meet sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, as set forth by the team lead.

Requirements

  • Maintain General Lines Property and Casualty Insurance License.
  • 2+ years of insurance sales experience (account management experience also accepted).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus!

  • Proven track record in identifying prospects through demand generation channels and cold-calling.
