About the position

The Commercial Interior Designer at Interiors By Brown will play a crucial role in the design and execution of luxury commercial and residential projects, focusing on hospitality, multifamily, and retail sectors. This position requires collaboration with the design team to ensure that all projects meet and exceed client expectations, while also managing various aspects of project development from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute design concepts for projects from start to finish
• Prepare client presentations
• Develop proposals and budgets for projects
• Make furniture and fabric selections
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Make FF&E suggestions
• Conduct jobsite visits and oversee installations
• Address client questions in a timely manner
• Source products from vendors
• Provide weekly project updates to Design Director and Client

Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in commercial interior design
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design from an accredited program
• Experience in new construction and renovation
• Proficient in G Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms)
• Strong CAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop skills
• Excellent presentation, communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Understanding of project management principles and site supervision experience
• Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail
• Professional attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment
