About the position

The Commercial Investment Bank (CIB) Learning Specialist plays a crucial role in providing project management support for Payments Training. This position involves collaboration with Payments Product partners, client-facing Payments employees, and the broader CIB front office learning team to ensure the successful execution of sales and product training activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage nomination/participant lists and send communications for training programs.
  • Produce training materials and reserve conference rooms for events.
  • Arrange audio/visual equipment and order catering for training sessions.
  • Serve as the logistical point of contact for individuals attending programs.
  • Assist in scheduling internal speakers and collect presentations for programs.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews by evaluating project results using the Kirkpatrick model.
  • Create and maintain project plans and job aids to define purpose, roles, tasks, and deliverables.
  • Communicate with senior management regarding project progress and decisions.
  • Develop effective PowerPoint presentations and project update materials suitable for senior executives.
  • Monitor individual and team projects, evaluate progress, and develop issue resolution processes.
  • Assist with special projects and manage team resources including meeting agendas and calendars.
  • Provide comprehensive analytical support to the CIB Payments Learning team using Excel to analyze survey results and program metrics.
  • Identify and recommend best practices and enhancements for project management standards.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience with project and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to lead and influence project teams through effective communication.
  • Proven self-starter with strong decision-making skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Event/meeting coordination experience both in-person and virtual preferred.
  • Prior experience working with CIB's Commercial Banking and Global Corporate Banking sub LOBs.
  • Understanding of Payments products and functionality is a plus.
  • Experience in training and/or readiness activities.
  • SharePoint site ownership experience is a plus.
  • Experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Adobe Connect.
