About the position

The Commercial Janitorial Foreman will oversee the daily operations of a team of industrial cleaning laborers, ensuring the safety and quality of cleaning services at assigned locations. This role involves managing a crew, organizing tasks, and maintaining positive client relations while promoting a culture of safety and high performance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a crew of industrial cleaning laborers using various cleaning tools and equipment.
• Organize crews, delegate job responsibilities, and ensure availability of tools and supplies.
• Enforce jobsite safety in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety programs.
• Champion a positive workplace and safety culture.
• Act as a liaison for site leadership and maintain positive client relations.
• Develop and maintain a high-performing team dedicated to customer service.
• Perform various other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in the construction/industrial field with some management experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working understanding of safety principles and practices.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in industrial cleaning or janitorial services.
