About The Position

Extraco Banks is seeking a Commercial Banker to join our team in the Harker Heights market. The role involves developing commercial loan growth in the defined market area through a variety of activities including business development, community involvement and other related responsibilities assigned by the Market Executive.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on finance or economics, MBA preferred.
• Banking background with emphasis in commercial lending and general banking.
• Strong leadership and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Understanding of accounting terms and principles.
• Good understanding of lending concepts, practices and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop strong business relationships with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Market Executive to analyze potential loan opportunities.
• Help with the development of a coordinated business development plan.
• Assist in the development of marketing strategies designed to grow market share.
• Coordinate activities within the market area.
• Willingness to contribute as necessary in accomplishing defined goals.
