About the position

The Commercial Lines Account Executive is responsible for managing and servicing a designated book of commercial lines business within a growing insurance agency. This role requires strategic thinking, a commitment to client care, and the ability to work closely with clients on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in rate-making and underwriting, along with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Service all aspects of an assigned book of commercial lines business.
• Work with clients on a daily basis to address their needs and concerns.
• Manage workflow and daily problems effectively.
• Utilize rate-making and underwriting knowledge to assist clients.
• Demonstrate exceptional organization and time-management skills.

Requirements

• Valid Insurance license.
• Fluent in insurance terminology and its application for client needs.
• Experience in managing staff to handle workflow efficiently.
• Exceptional organization and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Proficient in computer applications, especially Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with Applied Tam preferred.
• Professional Designations such as CIC, CRM, ARM, CPCU, AAI are a plus.
