Responsibilities

  • Responsible for marketing new and renewal business.
  • Consult with clients on coverage options and offer the most appropriate coverage for the client.
  • Stay in direct contact with clients and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist in gathering renewal exposure information with the producer.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with carriers.
  • Respond to correspondence, telephone, and in-person inquiries from insureds regarding coverage, policy changes, premium payments, and related matters.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with small to mid-sized accounts on a generalist book of business at a retail brokerage setting.
  • Extensive experience with General Liability and Workers Compensation is required.
  • Knowledge of various lines of commercial insurance coverages and products.
  • P&C license required.
  • Proficiency in AMS360 is a plus.
