About the position

The Commercial Lines Account Manager will play a crucial role in managing a growing portfolio of commercial lines accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention through exceptional service. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing customized insurance solutions to commercial clients while collaborating with internal teams and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a growing portfolio of commercial lines accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention through excellent service and attention to detail.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of insurance quotes, proposals, and policy renewals.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests, addressing coverage questions, policy updates, and claims concerns.
  • Collaborate with producers, underwriters, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate policy implementation.
  • Conduct regular policy reviews with clients to ensure coverage is up-to-date and aligned with their business needs.
  • Process endorsements, certificates of insurance, and other policy changes with precision and efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support during the claims process to ensure clients are informed and well-supported.
  • Work to build strong relationships with clients, helping to foster long-term business partnerships and client retention.
  • Ensure all accounts are compliant with regulatory requirements and company procedures.

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial lines account management or a similar role within the insurance industry.
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extremely organized and detail-focused, able to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficient with insurance management systems and MS Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
