About the position

The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing client accounts in the commercial insurance sector, ensuring exceptional customer service and effective communication. This role involves utilizing strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and risk management principles to meet client needs and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee commercial insurance accounts for clients.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance policies with clients and underwriters.
  • Provide expert advice on commercial insurance products and risk management.
  • Handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite for account management and reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance and account management.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and risk management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Insurance designation such as CIC, CRM, or CPCU is preferred.
