About the position

The Commercial Lines Account Manager at Harrison Gray Search is responsible for delivering high-quality service to clients in a friendly and casual in-office environment. This role is essential for helping clients protect their businesses through effective insurance solutions, requiring both independent work and collaboration within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality customer service
  • Quoting and selling commercial line policies to meet client needs
  • Remarketing accounts
  • Managing the sales cycle throughout the whole process (quoting, issuing, reviewing for accuracy, and policy delivery)
  • Daily servicing, endorsements, certificates, phone calls, and emails
  • Building relationships with carrier partners
  • Proficiently maintaining the agency management system and setting up new clients in Ezlynx
  • Promptly responding to requests from clients, carriers, and internal staff
  • Proactively reviewing clients' insurance for accuracy and identifying gaps for additional or alternate coverage based on client needs

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • Three years or more of commercial lines sales and service experience
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in basic computing, including Microsoft Office
  • Experience with agency management systems
  • Professional demeanor, reacts well under pressure, treats others with respect, accepts responsibility for own actions, and follows through on commitments
