About the position

The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring exceptional client service and satisfaction. This role involves assessing clients' insurance needs, providing tailored coverage solutions, and facilitating the renewal process, all while maintaining strong relationships with clients and carriers.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as main contact for all accounts assigned.
  • Maintain and service all renewal policies.
  • Assist insureds with their service needs including policy quotations, application completion, policy changes, and billing and claims questions.
  • Identify accounts for possible remarketing to help retain accounts.
  • Ensure all quotes are accurate prior to being proposed.
  • Responsible for documentation control (scanned, paper, electronic, verbal, etc).
  • Knowledge of Quality Control Compliance standards for department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Property & Casualty License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a business or financial related discipline.
  • Insurance Designation (e.g., RHU, CISR, CIC, ARM).
