About the position

The Commercial Lines Account Manager at North Risk Partners is a proactive and customer-focused role responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for clients. This position involves supporting the sales team in evaluating and managing commercial accounts while delivering exceptional service. The role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by advising and responding to correspondence promptly.
  • Service commercial lines accounts in accordance with company policies and service standards.
  • Collaborate with Risk Advisors and the Commercial Processing team to meet client goals.
  • Analyze markets for competitive pricing and develop insurance solutions for clients.
  • Review carrier quotes, identify coverage gaps, prepare proposals, and maintain client applications.
  • Communicate and educate clients on policies as needed.
  • Process new business, renewals, and cancellations to ensure maximum client retention.
  • Schedule and participate in commercial lines meetings, trainings, and classes.
  • Promote value-added services available through North Risk Partners.
  • Enter activity and relevant information accurately into the company's software systems.
  • Follow federal and state regulations and best practices to avoid errors and omissions.
  • Continue professional development and maintain licensing and designations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years in commercial insurance service experience.
  • Active property & casualty insurance license, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of AMS360 and ImageRight is a plus.
