About the position

The Senior Commercial Account Manager will be responsible for managing the agency's client base and key accounts within a leading Insurance Company. This role involves conducting thorough account reviews, ongoing coverage gap analysis, and providing documented coverage recommendations. The position requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and addressing their insurance needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the agency's client base and key accounts.
  • Conduct thorough account reviews at renewal and operational changes.
  • Perform ongoing and annual coverage gap analysis.
  • Provide documented coverage recommendations to clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their insurance needs, questions, and concerns.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business operations and advising them on appropriate coverage.
  • Assess risks associated with projects and coverage.
  • Assist clients with renewals, endorsements, and claims.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in commercial insurance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Account Manager.
  • Previous experience working directly for an Insurance Carrier, Broker, or Agency.
  • Active/Valid Insurance License.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree is strongly desired.
