About the position

We are currently seeking a Commercial Lines Operations Specialist to join our team at our Fairfield, OH headquarters. This role is crucial in driving continuous business process improvement within our Commercial Lines division. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing our change management practices, integrating the associate and agent experience into underwriting operations, and managing service metrics to optimize staffing capacity through data analytics. In this position, you will be expected to conduct up-front, objective analysis on problems and opportunities before defining and developing solutions. You will support efforts to perform data analysis to assess current business performance, recommend changes, and improve overall business outcomes. Identifying innovative recommendations and solutions that span across functions and departments will be a key part of your role. You will also be involved in recognizing changing business trends and opportunities, performing impact, gap, and benefits analysis, and participating in business initiatives by collaborating closely with IT associates, including business analysts, architects, developers, project managers, and service managers. Your contributions will help ensure the optimization of business processes and enhance customer experiences, both internal and external. You will provide input and support for continuous business process improvement initiatives across Commercial Lines, and assist in designing and utilizing tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs. This role requires a proven track record of exceeding expectations and delivering exceptional results, along with a basic knowledge of Commercial Lines underwriting procedures, guidelines, operations, and workflow. We are looking for someone who understands the primary business functions and possesses a customer mindset across all segments of the department, including Key Accounts, Middle Markets, Target Markets, Small Business, and the Customer Care Center. A working knowledge of other departments is essential to anticipate how changes in people, processes, and technology may affect those areas, such as reporting, claims, and billing. You will also need to apply change management principles and best practices effectively, demonstrating strategic thinking abilities and strong analytical skills to identify patterns in data and take appropriate actions. This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $170,000 annually, with additional opportunities for annual cash bonuses and stock incentives based on individual and company performance.
