About the position

The Commercial Lines Rater will provide exceptional service to internal and external customers by processing transactions and delivering services related to Commercial Package Policies (CPP). This role involves working independently within a defined timeframe, following established procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. The position requires a customer-first attitude and the ability to handle high-volume transactions with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions for Commercial Package Policies (CPP) within the Business Services Unit (BSU).
• Learn routine transactions and work independently within 6-12 months.
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Meet individual goals within defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Escalate issues and non-routine transactions to the supervisor as appropriate.
• Staff contact center phone and chat queues on a weekly basis or as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years' work experience required, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Experience with technology platforms, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Account Management, Claims Support, Medical Coding, or Policy Administration.
