About the position
The Commercial Loan Assistant will support loan officers in processing commercial loan requests and managing customer inquiries. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced banking environment. The position is not remote and requires direct experience in commercial loans.
Responsibilities
- Assist loan officers with processing loan requests and monitoring construction loans.
- Assist customers with general loan-related questions.
- Process documents with accuracy and completeness for all loan files.
- Prepare transactions to process loan payments, advances, wires, customer payments, etc.
- Coordinate loan closings with escrow companies, customers, and loan officers.
- Prepare appropriate loan request-response letters.
- Work as a team with other loan assistants, credit analysts, loan officers, and leadership.
Requirements
- Must have 2 years of banking experience dealing with commercial loans.
