About the position

The Commercial Loan Officer III at BancFirst Corporation is a senior-level lending position responsible for obtaining and developing a quality loan portfolio while managing existing loans. This role involves promoting BancFirst services, participating in community events, and ensuring extraordinary customer service. The officer will also engage in outside business development calls and assist with special projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and develop a quality loan portfolio with annual performance goals while managing the existing portfolio.
• Promote BancFirst services through cross-selling banking products to new and existing clientele.
• Participate in various community and public events.
• Execute policies and procedures consistently.
• Provide extraordinary customer service at all times.
• Conduct outside business development calls as required.
• Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required (Business major or Formal Credit training preferred).
• Minimum 5 years experience as an underwriting Commercial Loan Officer.
• Experience in negotiating loan workouts and asset liquidations.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and write detailed credit memorandums.
• Current working knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements including RESPA, HMDA, and Fair Lending.
• Ability to grow a quality portfolio with annual performance goals.
• Promote Retail/Cash Management products to new and existing relationships.
• Ability to work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
