About the position
The position of Manager III involves managing a commercial loan portfolio within a designated service area. The role includes providing both direct and indirect commercial lending services while ensuring efficient and effective service of commercial loans. The manager will implement strategies aimed at achieving and exceeding established sales and customer service goals, while also ensuring compliance with all operating policies and procedures, as well as outside regulatory compliance requirements. Additionally, the manager is responsible for maintaining an accurate awareness of credit quality and potential credit risks.
Responsibilities
- Manages a commercial loan portfolio in the designated service area.
- Provides direct and indirect commercial lending services.
- Ensures efficient and effective service of commercial loans.
- Implements strategies to achieve and exceed established sales and customer service goals.
- Ensures compliance with all established operating policies/procedures and outside regulatory compliance requirements.
- Maintains an accurate awareness of credit quality and potential credit risks.
Requirements
- A minimum of five (5) years commercial lending or related lending experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level analytical skills to assess and evaluate loan risk, credit limitations and appraisals.
- Thorough understanding of underwriting and financial data.
Nice-to-haves
- Formal bank credit training preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting or finance preferred.
