The Commercial Loan Operations Specialist Lead plays a crucial role in providing operational support for a variety of banking commercial products. This position operates under limited supervision and is responsible for managing projects and prospects related to commercial operations. Key tasks include coordinating data input processes, ensuring quality control, preparing client statements, and identifying errors within the commercial loan management system. The specialist lead is expected to solve escalated reporting issues and maintain the accuracy of the company's systems, which is vital for effective commercial loan management. In this role, the specialist lead coordinates the processing of commercial banking operations, which encompasses loans, letters of credit, and banking guarantees. A significant part of the job involves ensuring the accuracy, quality, and completeness of data inputs from loan applications and related documentation into the commercial loan management system. The lead also supports the preparation of statements for clients and conducts reconciliation and investigation efforts as necessary. This position requires the retrieval and provision of information on existing loans to clients upon request, ensuring that best practices for resolving out-of-balance transactions are adhered to. Additionally, the specialist lead is responsible for identifying and correcting erroneous transactions, reporting major issues to senior colleagues for resolution. A key aspect of this role is the training, delegation, and review of work performed by junior colleagues, ensuring that high-quality delivery of services and products is maintained. Responsibilities

  • Coordinates processing of commercial banking operations such as loans, letters of credit, and banking guarantees.

Requirements

  • University degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience required; 7+ years preferred.
  • Strong understanding of commercial loan operations and banking products.
