About the position
The Commercial Loan Operations Specialist will provide operational and processing support for the commercial lending team and their customers.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and verify all information required to close on commercial loans, including Articles of Incorporation, Operating Agreements, Meeting Minutes, Driver's License(s), and any other documentation required to verify status with the Secretary of State.
- Order appraisals for all real estate related commercial loans.
- Order flood certifications for all real estate related commercial loans.
- Responsible for communicating with various title companies to start the process of ordering title insurance.
- Identify the NAICS code for each commercial loan.
- Communicate with customers to obtain missing information.
- Assist in making calls to help clear exceptions.
- Perform additional tasks, as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good organizational skills and high initiative
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong customer service acumen
- Good working knowledge of MS Office products, including Excel and Word
- Good interpersonal communication skill
- Sufficient knowledge of bank products and services
- Ability to multi-task
- Strict adherence to confidentiality requirements
Nice-to-haves
- Previous lending operations experience preferred
