About the position

The Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial loans, conducting credit analysis, and cross-selling bank products and services. This role involves overseeing various types of commercial loans, including lines of credit, term notes, and mortgages, while ensuring compliance with lending authority and underwriting principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned portfolio loans and perform comprehensive credit analysis.
• Facilitate the loan application process by obtaining required information and coordinating document procurement.
• Verify credit information and notify sales personnel of deficiencies.
• Perform credit analysis and approve commercial loans within established lending authority.
• Cross-sell bank products and services to clients.

Requirements

• College degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
• Three or more years of experience in a credit-underwriting environment.
• Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Superior oral communication skills and extensive typing ability.
• Demonstrated personal computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements and tax returns.
• Knowledge of underwriting principles and regulatory requirements.
