About the position

The Commercial Manufacturing and Supply Chain (CMSC) Project Manager will oversee project teams focused on operational excellence, tech transfer to CDMO, and lifecycle management strategies within the Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) program. This role involves collaboration with various departments to create and manage project plans, track progress, and facilitate decision-making, primarily focusing on external manufacturing strategic projects.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with area leads to develop and maintain project plans.
• Identify and communicate interdependencies and critical path activities for the projects.
• Lead process mapping and scenario planning workshops to address challenges.
• Track and monitor key milestones and decision points, ensuring project objectives are met.
• Effectively communicate project status, objectives, risks, and mitigation plans to team members and stakeholders.
• Organize and maintain team communications, including meeting agendas, minutes, decision logs, and risk analyses.
• Update and maintain project status tools, such as action logs and risk registers.
• Perform duties in accordance with established SOPs and GxP requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management of cross-functional and technically complex projects in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Working knowledge of biotechnology, GMPs, and project management methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Expertise in Microsoft suite (Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) and core knowledge of Smartsheet for project management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
