About the position

The Commercial Marketing Manager at Johnson & Johnson's Abiomed Team is responsible for developing and executing regional marketing strategies to enhance therapy adoption and improve patient outcomes in cardiovascular care. This role involves collaboration with field teams and healthcare providers, leveraging insights to create impactful marketing programs, and establishing performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop regional marketing strategy, planning & execution for launches, campaigns, and initiatives.
  • Identify barriers and opportunities for therapy adoption and address them through marketing programs.
  • Introduce key messages, clinical evidence, and best practices to the field commercial organization.
  • Generate engagement opportunities for the field to enhance presence and relevance with healthcare provider customers.
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in scientific literature and align with publication office strategy.
  • Develop field communication & training strategy, including All Field Calls and Quarterly Plan of Action live.
  • Provide leadership to the execution of omni-channel strategy including professional education and advertising.
  • Communicate and align with internal business partners such as Prof Ed and product management.
  • Build a deep understanding of target markets, including technology and healthcare trends, competitive dynamics, and unmet needs.
  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Foster strong relationships with key opinion leaders, industry partners, and customers to enhance brand reputation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years marketing experience, ideally in the medical device market.
  • Bachelor's degree required; postgraduate degree preferred.
  • Marketing experience in the cardiology space is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to embody Abiomed's Patients First culture with a positive attitude and collaboration.
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to embrace new ideas, processes, and technologies.
  • Proven track record of leveraging analytics and customer insights to develop strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills for diverse audiences.
